My Muse

Sometimes it’s good to get out and just shoot! Photographers love to carry their cameras everywhere they go…at least I do 🙂 Lately I’ve been thinking about how I miss the imperfections you would sometimes get with film..the light leaks, the blurry and grainy photos.  Today when I grabbed my camera I made sure to put on my Muse lens from Lensbaby. Although digital is here to stay that doesn’t mean I can’t try to recapture the good ole days of shooting film.  Those days I shot JUST BECAUSE…those days when I ran into the darkroom to see what I had gotten…those days that made me say “I love photography” … those days when I thought to myself  “I’m going to do this for the rest of my life!”  Yep, those days 🙂

Digital has spoiled me because I no longer have to wait hours or even days to see results after I’ve shot something so I am thankful for that but I can’t help missing my number one love..my soul-mate for life…Kodachrome…you may be gone but not forgot. R.I.P 1935 to 2009. I still have plenty of film. I have some that has been used and still need processing. I have some I still need to shoot. You wouldn’t believe how old some of those rolls are!! lol…I’m sure I’ll get some pretty interesting results when I do go to process them 🙂

Peace XoLB
