Snow Day

Prior to my son running in after school today to tell me he saw snow flurries I had already been inspired to post my snow photos from last year. I had predicted it should be about that time we would get some snow. I’m not really a ‘cold snap’ kind of girl but as long as I’ve got some fly winter fashions such as hats, scarves, boots, etc.  I can face anything but right now it’s beyond a ‘cold snap’ here in Ga. because it’s freaking freezing and being that cold usually puts me in a bad mood. I’m a Florida girl!  My preference is beach over snow any day 🙂

Don’t get me wrong..snow is fun to be in for a moment but me moving to a place such as Chicago or New York is definitely a NO GO! I just can’t see myself living in an area like that permanently.   In fact, my husband and I frequented Big Bear and Lake Arrowhead in the winters because it was quite beautiful when the snow fell and covered everything in its path so I’m guessing California could be my acception to the rule because you can drive up to the mountains to play in the snow then drive down to any given beach where it’s not snowing and the weather is actually NICE all in the same day. I so loved Venice Beach and the Santa Monica Pier…..hmmmm… I do miss Cali and all my friends there 🙁

So..where was I?… oh yeah..SNOW! So anyway I do welcome the snow but I’m even happier to see it melt away….sorry my ‘cold state lovers’ but I don’t know how yall do it! my goodness… maybe I need a little meat on my bones or something but living in that climate would drive me insane because after I came in from getting these photos it felt like I would never ‘thaw out’..LOL

As always, Cheers until the next post 🙂
