Sweet Victory

Many times I find that I tone my sense of style down for my husband because In his eyes it can get kinda “crazy” and I think this because of the looks he sometimes give me LOL  sooooooo when in Rome do as the Romans do but honestly it’s never been my thing to be that “matchy-matchy” person. I find it boring to simply blend in with the paint. I must be let out of my box from time to time 🙂

For me, this OOTD is a sweet victory because I love my victory roll  hairstyle and the mixed prints/patterns. The black and white chevron maxi skirt was a must for me because I have a serious love affair with all things flowy! Long and flowy dresses/skirts are the epitome of feminine style.

Noooooo, I did not retwist my roots. Sometimes I go into “free-form” mode because again beauty doesn’t mean perfection. For some, perfection may be perfectly manicured locs but for me perfection is loving the kinky coils that grow naturally from scalp…being okay with what you see in the mirror is what it’s all about.
